If you’ve ever Googled the name of your New Hampshire business, you’ve probably found that Google displays information about your business that you didn’t provide. This information is collected from third-party sources and is used to create listings that include your address, contact info, website, and even a display marker on Google maps.

Getting control of this information and keeping it current is critical, because if you can see it, your potential customers are seeing it too. Most people consider Google a trusted source, so correcting any errors is essential to maintaining a meaningful web presence.

Here’s how to fix and/or update Google’s listing for your local business:

  1. Login to Google Business and verify your business.
  2. Click “Edit” in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
  3. Update or add information about your business.
  4. When you’re finished, click “Done editing”.

If Google isn’t displaying a listing for your business, there’s an easy way for you to add your own information. Simply surf on over to Google Business and sign up.
